Join us for an extraordinary wine dinner experience at the newly opened Ellizabetta La Strega. Guests will enjoy a 5-course meal prepared by executive chef Stephen Jones, each paired with curated Donnafugata wines, presented by Giorgia Nanut, Export Director for Donnafugata.

Donnafugata was established in Sicily in 1983 by Giacomo Rallo, fourth generation of a family with over 170 years of experience in quality wine, with his wife Gabriella, pioneer of high quality viticulture in Sicily. Today, Antonio and Josè, the fifth generation, lead the company and a team of people focused on excellence. The 6th generation has recently joined the winery activities with Gabriella.

A family business in perpetual motion that represents the Made in Italy artisanal and creative excellence in the World.

The name Donnafugata refers to the novel by Tomasi di Lampedusa entitled Il Gattopardo (The Leopard).

A name that means “donna in fuga” (woman in flight) and that refers to the story of a queen who found refuge in the part of Sicily where the winery’s vineyards are located today. An adventure that inspired the corporate logo: a face of a woman with windblown hair, a face that is also that of Gabriella the “donna-fugata” (woman in flight).
