Duvel Belgian Golden Ale is a classic beer, rated 98 on RateBeer and deservedly so. Duvel has a frothy white head that stays intact while drinking it, a pale golden straw color, and 8.5% ABV. The first thing you notice while drinking it is the classic Duvel yeast that drives the flavor in this beer. After that you will find subtle bitterness and biscuit notes from the pilsner malt. Make sure to follow the bottle’s suggestion to “Pour Unhurriedly,” since this is a bottle conditioned beer. You should leave the yeast, and some beer, behind in the bottle after pouring this in your glass.
