“While on my honeymoon, my wife and I stayed in the beautiful Sirmione peninsula on the southern coast of Lake Garda in northern Italy. While there, we enjoyed the very refreshing and vibrant wines of the Lugana region which surrounded us. These Trebbiano-based white wines were the perfect pairing to an already perfect experience. The 2022 Cà Maiol from Lugana took me right back there, with its delicate and fresh palate with notes of white almond and apple. Made me wish I was back on a lake with a glass having some delicious seafood watching the sun set over the horizon. Can it get much better than that? You decide.”
