Pure, minerally and powerful, with concentrated flavors of red plum and dried raspberry, loaded with powerful meaty notes. Sandalwood accents linger on the finish, showing caressing tannins.
The 2022 Pinot Noir Barda, hailing from Mainqué in Río Negro, underwent an interesting fermentation: 1/3 in concrete vats, 1/3 in barrels and 1/3 in stainless steel tanks. A bright, ruby-hued Pinot, the nose presents with aromas of cherry and rose, underscored by hints of damp earth, chamomile and orange peel. Dry and lean, the palate seems almost infused with flavor, structured with fine dusty tannins. This Patagonian Pinot Noir is quite ethereal.
