Colosi Description
Pale yellow in color, this Grillo is delicious and complex. On the nose, strong notes of golden apple and white flowers are accented by hints of tropical fruits. The palate is crisp and clean with refreshing acidity and flavors of apple, ripe pear, peach, and floral undertones. The tropical and stone fruit flavors linger on the palate, leaving a fresh and fruity finish. This wine is aged for 4 months in Acacia barrels, an unusual and rare practice. This gives an elegant vanilla hint and a pleasant roundedness without altering the aromas.
