Dandelion Vineyards Description
Dark-red to purple, bright and alive. Inviting. Traces of distant dark chocolate flirt around an expanding aroma of blackberry and freshly bottled cassis along with folds of gentle menthol and Summer’s early tomato foliage. Older French Oak’s bouquet is sewn into a hidden jacket pocket. Long and strong and upright with Cabernet Sauvignon’s full sail on show. Sour blackberry and bright mulberry; textural and firm tannins.

The elegantly framed but charming 2021 Pride of the Fleurieu tempts with its fragrant leafy blackcurrant aromas with layers of soy sauce, adding attractive detail. Unashamedly mid-weight and well-composed, it offers vibrant dark cherry and cedar layers. The sinewy tannins add backbone before a lingering finish.
