Domaine Gassier Description
Our white Païs plays less on exuberance than on freshness, purity and balance. It offers notes of fresh lemon, white flowers and flint (gunflint). The mouth is precise and slightly fleshy. The finish is supple and offers a lot of minerality. In 2020, the whites and rosés are tense, particularly the Grenaches. Roussannes and Viogniers are very digestible and do not have the overflowing opulence that they usually have very early. A lot of class and balance! It is a vintage focused on freshness with almost Burgundian accents.

Another beautiful white, the 2021 Costières De Nîmes Nostre Païs Blanc is 80% Grenache Blanc, 15% Clairette, and 5% Viognier. White peach, apple blossom, and floral nuances all flow to a medium-bodied, clean, vibrant, refreshing white that displays a distinct sense of minerality on the finish. This versatile, textured, incredibly satisfying white will evolve for 3-5 years, although I like it today.
