Description
One of France’s last undiscovered treasures, I cannot recall a single wine from France or any other place that’s quite like Ferme Blanche Cassis Blanc. While the vast majority of France’s finest wines are powerful and immediately impressive, this wine achieves greatness in another way, through subtle, ethereal elegance. Enjoy this wines wine’s magical profusion of citrus, yellow fruit, Provençal herb, and sea-breeze saline nuances with smoked salmon dotted with capers, chilled ceviche, shaved white meat chicken over garden salad and balsamic, and grilled fish, light meat poultry, and steamed lobster. Serving suggestion: do not drink ice cold – you’ll lose the nuance; instead, remove from the refrigerator 15-20 minutes in advance.
