As I reported last year, the 2020 Viré-Clessé Quintaine is a strong rendition of this cuvée. Exhibiting aromas of honeyed orchard fruit, lemon zest and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, with a satiny attack that segues into a fleshy mid-palate with good concentration and bright animating acids, concluding with a discreetly sweet finish. Always more outgoing than the Thevenet family's Domaine de la Bongran, it's already drinking well today.
