Louis Latour Description
Of a beautiful pale-yellow hue, our Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru « En Caradeux » 2019 unveils a floral nose with acacia and almond aromas along with a slightly smoked note. The palate is round and fresh with almond note as well. Nice minerality on the finish.
Burghound: 88-90 Points
Here too the nose reflects notes of sulfur and reduction. The middle weight flavors are racier, but they don't possess the same volume on the lightly stony, clean, dry and bitter lemon-inflected finish that is a bit more tightly wound.
