Description
Derived from the ancient Greek word denoting pleasure, "Sybarite" is an apt description of what this wine is all about. Vibrant and aromatic, the wine's notes of zesty lime, tropical fruit, and melon are balanced by a racy acidity that gives the wine a lively edge and crisp, clean finish. Although Santa Barbara's cool-climate terroir is justly celebrated for its popular Chardonnays, the 2023 Margerum Sybarite Sauvignon Blanc is proof positive of its talent for making Loire-style Sauvignon Blanc. It also earned an impressive 92-point score from Antonio Galloni of Vinous.
