Made by Chablis producer Jean-Marc Brocard from old-vine vineyards in and around the Chablis area, this bargain-priced Bourgogne Blanc is a dead ringer for an official AOC Chablis costing twice as much or more. It opens with a classic Chablis nose of white flowers, citrus, and vibrant minerality. It races over the palate with notes of yellow apple, pear, and a hint of saline. Ultra-fresh and racy in the classic Chablis manner, try it with steamed lobster, softshell crabs, grilled salmon, shellfish, and light-meat poultry. It's also great with goat cheese, feta, and veggie dishes.
– Ben Giliberti, CW Director of Wine Education
The wine has a perfect light yellow color with green hues. Nose of white flower, sweet spice and bitter orange. Fresh and delicious attack. It shows roundness and a slight buttery note with a very saline finish that makes you slightly salivate.
