Description
Inky red with purple lights at the rim, the 2020 Thorn-Clarke Shotfire Shiraz showcases the rich delights of Barossa Shiraz with a distinct element of Rhône savoir-faire. Aged for 14 months in a combination of new and used American oak barrels, it offers plush Syrah fruit seasoned with notes of dark chocolate, black currants, licorice, and plum. The flavors are supported by smooth, ripe tannins. It will reward cellaring but can also be enjoyed now for its vibrant fruit expression.
