The 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva, 10% Sangiovese, is a dense, powerful wine. Black cherry, leather, licorice, incense, chocolate and menthol are dialed up. This is an especially rich, concentrated style, and there is a good bit of oak, but it all works so well together.
