Vitícola Mentridana Description
An intense, high-altitude Garnacha, it has notes of dark cherry, wild strawberry and a thyme like herbal note on the finish. It’s structured and serious but sweet-fruited and hugely drinkable.
Wine Advocate: 91 Points
It was interesting to taste the red 2022 El Mentridano next to the 2023; the 2022 is darker, riper and more concentrated, with 14.5% alcohol and a Mediterranean nose of berries, flowers and aromatic herbs. It has a medium to full-bodied palate, with more tannins.
