My pick for "Rosé of the Year," the just-released 2023 Borie-Vieille "1910" Rosé is a brilliant effort and a great bargain. It is made in the Gaillac region of southwest France from a distinctive regional blend of the indigenous Duras and Braucol grapes along with Syrah. Bursting with mouthwatering flavors of strawberry, juicy melon, tropical fruit, and an array of apricot/spicy flavors, it is a joy to drink. Enjoy it with light summer fare or all by itself on the deck or patio on warm spring and summer evenings.
