The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune Clos des Godeaux is an organically farmed monopole belonging to Drouhin, this harvested on September 8. The nose offers ripe black plum, raspberry, and a hint of black olive, with good depth and concentration. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, plenty of volume, moderate grip and a juicy, dark-fruited, clove-tinged finish. It is a little terse right at the end in a normal glass, though in a Zalto, it has much more finesse and persistence.
