“Salice Salentino, hailing from the sun-drenched hills of Puglia, Italy, has been one of my go-to wines since starting out in the wine business. Made from 100% Negroamaro (meaning black and bitter) this red is full of ripe red and black fruit, with velvety soft tannins and coffee notes on the finish. It's a perfect wine for the fall as it can be enjoyed on its own on crisp autumn nights or paired with tomato-based dishes, where it's ability to seamlessly cut through the acidity truly shines. Also try it with seafood, roasted vegetables, and any meat off the grill.”
