Reduction. There is slightly more volume yet also more refinement to the tightly wound and overtly mineral-driven flavors that exhibit terrific detail on the clean, linear and focused finale. This is a classic Volnay of lace and grace but one that is sufficiently well-constituted to amply reward extended cellaring.
