Description
Made by Domaine de Chevalier on vineyards in Sauternes from 70% Sémillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, the 2022 Lune d'Argent Bordeaux Blanc is made in a bone-dry style inspired by Château d'Yquem's illustrious dry white, "Y." It offers pure, subtle aromas and flavors of white peach, acacia, and white flower, seasoned by a hint of oak from short-term aging in French barrique. I found it thoroughly delightful and a super value.

The 2022 Lune d'Argent shows notable richness, very much in the style of the year. Orchard fruit, white flowers, mint and tangerine. Pear, mint and chamomile open effortlessly. In 2022, Lune d’Argent offers quite a bit of presence, making it a terrific choice for the dinner table. Readers should expect a rich, layered Bordeaux Blanc. Pretty floral notes liven up the finish.
